Goodbye Lyell

For years, I had stalked Lyell for its simple yet astonishing style. But I was shocked when I visited their website this morning, reading Emma's (Lyell Designer) note that she is going to take a break since now. She wrote "So after seven years and with a lease that is running out, I have decided to say goodbye for now. Lyell is my heart and soul. I couldn't have come as far as I have come with out all the loyal support that I've received over the years. However, it is time now to take break."

I bet I would cry, why should a brand that received huge compliments like Lyell close? And how long will she take a break?

I will really miss Lyell.. Goodbye Lyell

My Present for Dija (& A Failed Baby Shoe)

Today is a very special day of Dija.. Happy 6 month Dija !! We all love you !! XO XO XO

Who is Dija ?
Let me introduce you Khadijah Putri Nur Aini, we call her with a sweet simple name : "Dija". Even she is a little baby, she has her own blog. Here are her sweet smile :

Can you see? She has a smile like a shining star. I am one of Dija's fan, and becoming follower of her blog. Uhm, actually, that blog is written by her auntie, Elsa from Yellow Life.. Her auntie love her so much, so am I. We all love and always be her friend, her auntie, her sister, her mother ? Mother? Yes, Dija's mother, Noni Nur Aini, had passes away when she gave birth to her lovely daughter. Here is Noni's picture

Isn't she beautiful ? I can see the eyes in her face which are as starry as her daughter's eyes. Very beautiful eyes.

Dija, auntie can not write you any poetry or story
I'm not that talented on writing. I just hope that this blogger.com & and this blog post will exist till you grow up and can read these love letters that are written just for you. And you'll know that you have so many people behind you

Auntie also didn't have any idea for your present, Dija. Auntie only has a pattern of baby shoes, and decided to make you a pair of big size baby shoes last night (cause I know you have a big & fatty feet now ^_^ ) . But, pardon me, I cut the wrong size. That time I was thinking that maybe it was ok, just a little difference wouldn't matter. But I was wrong :( When my first shoes was finished, I knew that it wouldn't fit Dija's foot. Its front part was way too small. It was all my fault. It was 2 a.m. this early morning, and I was totally sleepy to sew another pair of shoes. I was totally failed on this shoe :

Actually, I love this shoe. Fortunately, I just failed on first shoe, so I can make another, a better and a bigger pair of shoes for Dija. Auntie Elsa, just send me your email to : mama.rafif@gmail.com. I need your adreess to deliver this shoes when I finish them. By the way, I'll make this shoes with a 5 inches sole. Shall I make it bigger for Dija ? just include Dija shoes' size on your email

And I've tried many different style of embellishment. But, I'm still confused. Which one shall I pick ? Auntie Elsa, please pick your style. And readers, you can help Auntie Elsa to pick the style. Which one is your favourite ?
